How It Works

From alert to disposition, in minutes.

Vormur moves each alert through a consistent, examiner-ready workflow — gather context, assemble evidence, draft the case, review, and file. Configure where automation runs end-to-end and where it routes to a human, on your terms.

The Workflow

A consistent path for every alert

Every case moves through the same steps, every time. Your team sees the same structure, your examiners see the same trail, and nothing is skipped.

1

Intake

The alert is received from your transaction monitoring or case management system. Customer profile, prior alerts, and relevant policy context are pulled automatically so the investigation begins with a complete picture.

2

Evidence assembly

Transactions, KYC and CDD records, counterparties, and supporting documents are gathered and organized into a single case file. Every piece of source data is linked so reviewers can trace any finding back to its origin.

3

Independent review

Findings are tested against alternative explanations before anything is recommended. Thin or ambiguous cases are flagged for additional information rather than pushed forward.

4

Narrative draft

A case memo and, where applicable, a regulator-ready narrative are drafted — citing the underlying evidence, reflecting internal policy, and structured the way your examiners already expect to read it.

5

Human disposition

Your analyst reviews the case, the narrative, and the evidence. They can approve, edit, request more information, or reject. The disposition is recorded to an immutable audit trail. Alternatively, admins can set automations where desired.

What your team sees

An executive-readable summary backed by a complete audit trail

Each case opens to a clear recommendation, the key evidence supporting it, the strongest counterpoints, and any information gaps. Analysts can act in seconds, or drill in for the full record.

Underneath, every finding links to the underlying source data — transactions, KYC records, counterparty information, prior alerts. The chain from conclusion to evidence to source system is unbroken and examiner-ready.

Nothing is hidden behind a score. There is always a reason, and the reason is always traceable.

What your examiner sees

A defensible answer to the question every regulator asks

"How did the system reach this conclusion?"

Every case produces a structured record: the recommendation, the evidence behind it, the alternatives considered, the policy checks performed, and the approval pathway. Presented cleanly for a board or a C-suite, preserved in full for an examination.

This is the difference between an AI you can't explain and one you can defend. High-level summary by default, full trail on drill-down.

Configurable autonomy

Set the level of autonomy that fits your risk posture.

Run end-to-end automated where your policy allows it, route to human review where it doesn't. Either path produces the same examiner-ready record.

Automate

Where policy allows

Auto-clear obvious false positives and auto-advance straightforward filings. Set thresholds by alert type, risk tier, amount, or customer segment.

Review

Where it matters

Cases that warrant a human land in your analyst's queue with the file pre-assembled. Approve, edit, request more information, or reject — the case memo is a draft until they sign off.

Audit

Immutable trail

Every action — automated or human — is recorded to an append-only audit trail. Ready for internal QC, second-line review, and regulatory examination.

Where it fits

Built to slot into the stack you already run

Vormur connects to your existing transaction monitoring, case management, identity, and filing systems so your analysts work in the tools they already know.

Transaction monitoring

Alert intake

Alerts flow in from your existing monitoring platform. Vormur picks them up downstream and accelerates the investigation that follows.

Case management

Workflow integration

Cases appear in your existing queue with the investigation pre-assembled. Analysts review, edit, and disposition inside the workflow they already use.

Filing & reporting

Regulator-ready output

Narratives and supporting records are formatted for your existing filing workflow — SAR, CTR, 314(a) responses — with the audit trail attached.

See it on your own alerts.

A short working session with your team — your data, your policies, your examiner's questions.
